The cost of waiting for payday

Your people finish the shift today. Payday is weeks away.

In a tight labour market, frontline staff notice which employers make life easier. A long wait for pay is one of the first reasons they start looking elsewhere.

Up to 37

days between a new hire's first shift and their first pay cheque on a monthly salary cycle. Every one of those days is a day a competitor can offer them something better.

Monthly salary period plus the 7-day payment window under the Employment Act.

Good staff leave for small reasons

A few dollars more an hour, or faster pay somewhere else, is often all it takes to lose a trained crew member, officer or technician.

Every resignation restarts the clock

Recruitment ads, agency fees, onboarding, training and overtime to cover the gap. The real cost of turnover rarely shows up in one line of the P&L.

Advance requests land on HR

Ad-hoc salary advances mean manual approvals, one-off transfers and payroll adjustments that take your team away from real work.

Earned wage access, done properly

One benefit. Measurable retention. Zero payroll disruption.

Employees withdraw part of the wages they have already worked for, as soon as each shift ends. GetPaid funds and runs it end to end, so your payroll cycle and cash flow stay exactly as they are.

01

Paid when the shift ends

Earned wages update after every shift and can be withdrawn to PayNow within a minute, day or night.

02

Your payroll stays the same

GetPaid funds every withdrawal. You pay salaries on your usual date, with advances netted off in one clean settlement.

03

Higher retention

Staff stay longer with an employer that pays them on their terms. Fewer resignations means less spent on hiring and training.

04

An employer-of-choice benefit

Stand out in job ads and interviews with a benefit frontline workers value more than most perks.

05

Less admin for HR

No more ad-hoc advance requests, manual transfers or payroll adjustments. Everything is tracked and reconciled for you.

06

0% interest, never a loan

Employees only access money they have already earned. No interest, no credit checks, no debt.

How it works

Set up properly, built to fit your systems.

No change to your payroll cycle. We connect GetPaid to the systems you already use and test it end to end before your staff go live.

01

We integrate and test

We connect to your HRIS and time-attendance data, map your shift rates, OT rules and pay cycle, then test everything with your team.

02

Staff sign up in minutes

Employees download the app and verify with Singpass or their details. No credit check.

03

Shift ends, pay is ready

Each completed shift adds to their available balance. They withdraw what they need, when they need it.

04

We reconcile at payday

Withdrawals net off on your normal payroll run. One settlement, one report, no extra admin.

  • Fill rosters faster with a benefit candidates ask about
  • No change to your payroll date, CPF submissions or cash flow

Frequently asked questions

What employers ask us most.

Can't find your answer? Our team will walk you through it in a 20-minute demo.

Is earned wage access a loan?

No. Employees only withdraw a portion of wages they have already earned for shifts they have completed. There is no interest, no credit check and no debt. Withdrawals are simply deducted from the salary you already pay on payday.

How does GetPaid improve retention?

Faster access to pay is one of the benefits frontline staff value most. When employees can get paid as soon as a shift ends, they are less likely to leave for a small pay difference elsewhere, and more likely to recommend you as an employer.

What does it cost our company?

There is a one-time set-up fee to configure GetPaid around your pay rules, shift patterns and eligibility policy. A small transaction fee applies to each withdrawal, and you decide whether the company, the employee or both pay it. We will give you a clear quote during your demo.

Does it affect our payroll, CPF or cash flow?

No. GetPaid funds every withdrawal, so there is no upfront cost to your cash flow. You keep your normal payroll date and CPF submissions. At payday, withdrawals are netted off in one settlement with a full report.

How fast can employees access their pay?

As soon as a shift is recorded as complete, the earned amount is added to the employee's available balance. Withdrawals are sent to their bank account via PayNow, usually in under 60 seconds.

How does GetPaid work with our HRIS?

We integrate directly with your HRIS and time-attendance system so completed shifts and earned wages update automatically. Our team handles the integration and runs full testing with you before launch, so nothing reaches your employees until it has been checked.

How is employee data protected?

Employee data is used only to run the service, is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is handled in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
